Pastor E. Adeboye |
The phase one of the project which is also known as the Pavilion Center seats about 10,000 people but the Worship Auditorium itself is expected to seat over 100,000 when fully completed.
The General Overseer, Worldwide, of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye will be dedicating the Pavilion Center at the start of the church's 17th North America Annual Convention holding at the Camp ground.
Pastor James Fadele, Chairman of the RCCGNA, other pastors of the church and guests from all around the world would also be present alongside thousands of RCCG members in the United States and Canada.
A multi-million dollar project, the Pavilion Center will be another permanent structure located on the over 800 acres of land acquired by the RCCG NA in Floyd, DFW Metroplex where the church is developing a comprehensive camp ground, modeled after the RCCG Redemption Camp in Nigeria, where millions of people gather to worship regularly on a monthly basis.
When fully developed, the RCCG NA camp at the DFW will have a number of buildings including housing estates, fish farm, schools and a top-rate university.
Already, besides the Pavilion Center, there is an Administrative Building that houses the headquarters of the church in North America, where over 700 churches are being supervised.
That Administrative building has a section of offices for leaders and officials of the church, and an auditorium. Around the camp, the church has also acquired a 20-000 square-foot building which now serves as the Redeemed Christian Church of God, North America Community Center. That Center houses the church's Bible College and Seminary and its other community initiatives.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a bible-believing church with a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the earth. It was founded in 1952 and has grown to well over 23,000 parishes worldwide.
