A female pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of Good (RCCG), Mrs Eunice Elisha, was murdered on Saturday morning by unknown persons while preaching in Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory.
Mrs Elisha, a mother of seven, was a a deaconess at the Divine Touch Parish of the RCCG in Kubwa.
She was found dead with a copy of the Bible, a megaphone and a mobile phone. The residents who found her, alerted the police who the evacuated her remains to the police station.
Her husband, Mr Elisha who is also a Pastor in the same church, said that her wife had gone out at around 5.a.m. to preach in the neighbourhood.
According to him, "My wife always went out early in the morning for "Morning Cry" (evangelism). There was a particular day she went out and she told me that there was a mosque at the back where they commented about what she said. So I just cautioned her."
The Police in Kubwa have confirmed the incident and they have arrested some suspects in connection with the killing.
