The West Africa Faith Believers Convention (WAFBEC) organised by Covenant Christian Centre will be taking place from the 4th to the 11th of January 2019.
Here are the ministers that have been earmarked to grace the occasion.
Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo: Pastor Ashimolowo is the founder and President of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), a ministry with a global footprint in 214 countries (via television) with a volunteer base of over 1000 staff. His weekly telecast WINNING WAYS is a source of inspiration and motivation to many. He is also the founder and CEO of about 10 profitable companies which include a global TV station - KICC TV.
Bishop Keith Butler: Bishop Butler is the founder and President of Keith Butler Ministries and senior pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Centre. In 1989, he founded the Word of Faith School of Ministry, today called PISTIS for the purpose of training ministers. Bishop Butler has authored over 30 books.
Bishop Wale Oke: Bishop Oke is widely respected and known for his evangelical Christian work throughout Nigeria and beyond. He is the founder and presiding Bishop of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries also known as Christ Life Church with headquarters in Ibadan, Nigeria. Bishop Oke is also the founder of the International Bible College of Ministries and Seminary (IBCOMS) where he teaches and trains ministers on the work and essentials of Ministry
Dr Mensa Otabil: Dr Otabil is a respected Christian minister, educator, theologian, philanthropist and entrepreneur. He oversees the multi-faceted network of ministries of the International Central Gospel Church with its headquarters in Accra, Ghana. He also serves as Senior Pastor fo Christ Temple. His over-riding passion is to see the timeless principles of the Bible made applicable to the renewal and transformation of Africa.
Dr Bill Winston: Dr Winston is the founder and senior pastor of Living Word Christian Church (LWCC), a multi-cultural, non-denominational church. He is also the founder of Bill Winston Ministries (BWM), a partnership-based global outreach ministry. Dr Winston is also the founder and president of the nationally accredited Joseph Business School (JBS), which teaches practical and biblical principles to empower adults to develop indispensable skills as successful entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Pastor Ray McCauley: Pastor McCauley is the Senior Pastor of Rhema Bible Church, President of the international Federation of Christian Churches (IFCC), co-chair of the National Interfaith Council of South Africa (NICSA), author of several bestsellers. Rhema Bible Church was founded in 1979 by Pastor Ray's parents. Under the leadership of Pastor McCauley, Rhema was one of the first churches in South Africa to defy Apartheid laws and have non-racial church services in South Africa.
Pastor Keion Henderson: Pastor Henderson is the charismatic leader of one of the fastest growing churches in Houston, Texas - The Lighthouse Church. In 2015, he released his first national single entitled, "Give Me More", which rose quickly as one of the top 40 Gospel songs in the nation. He has been recognised by The John Maxwell Institute as one of the top 250 leaders in America.
Dr Cindy Trimm: Dr Trimm has earned a distinguished reputation as a catalyst of change and voice of hope to the nations. She has dedicated her life to serving God and humanity. She is also a best-selling author, a sought-after empowerment specialist, revolutionary thinker and transformational leader
And lastly the host, Pastor Poju Oyemade. Pastor Poju Oyemade is the Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre. He is also the convener of the West Africa Faith Believers Convention.
