Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) has announced the cancellation of its upcoming "7 Days of Glory’ programme" amidst rape allegation.
He made the announcement during the church service on Sunday saying that the '7 days of Glory" programme had been postponed till further notice to “let the elders in the church manage the crisis properly.”
On Friday, Busola Dakolo - photographer and wife of singer Timi Dakolo alleged in a video interview that she was raped twice by the senior pastor some years ago.
Protestors had stormed the COZA branches in Lagos and Abuja with placards condemning the allegation although they were met with heavy opposition from unnamed security agents.
The protestors are also asking the Senior pastor to step down while investigations are being carried out.
