Darlene Zschech & William McDowell have just recently done a song "Waymaker" originally done by Sinach.
The song "Waymaker" was released by the Nigerian award winning gospel singer in 2015. It has been translated to over 50 languages and covered by many artists all around the world. It is also the theme song sung in many languages bring hope and faith to many in distress. It made Sinach, #1 on Billboard's Christian Song Writers for 10 weeks running.
This version of Way Maker features worship leader and the pastor of Deeper Fellowship Church, William McDowell, and Darlene Zschech, who is also the pastor of HopeUC. The timeless vocal of Darlene along with exhortations from William about what God is doing in the nations will hopefully leave you inspired and in awe of the Miracle Worker. They are joined by the choirs: Sounds of Unity, Lee University Singers, Evangelical Singers (EVS)
According to Integrity Music, "We've been singing it, we've heard it in different versions, but the best-kept secret about the song, Way Maker, is that it was born in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, written by Sinach. The father has given Jesus the nations as his inheritance, and this is never more powerfully demonstrated than when every tribe and language gather before him in worship."
"Our hope with the REVERE version of Way Maker is to gently help steer the church away from a production culture where the emphasis can, mistakenly, become a love for worship, to a reverential culture where the focus is, clearly and firmly, a love for Christ."
