This festive period has had a lot of songs released in dedication to the season. Award winning gospel music group, Selah, is among the latest artistes to release a single. Selah released its Christmas single titled "Away in a Manger" on December 18, 2020. It will be recalled that the music group recently launched their 16th album. This was after it bagged two awards at the Dove Awards.
It is paramount to note that the latest album of Selah debuted at the number one spot on the iTunes Christian chart. The group created "Away in a Manger" by combining three different melodies into one song. The release of the song was also accompanied by the official lyric video.
Selah is made up of Todd Smith, Amy Perry, and Allan Hall, and they have been together for the past two decades. Nevertheless, the group is experiencing a rebirth of who they are with an excitement, passion, and youthfulness. However, they are set to release their first project with 3Cre8tive.
The group announced the launch of 3CR8 Coin (a nod to their new label, 3Cre8tive) earlier in the year. 3CR8 is expected to give their global fan base unprecedented access on and off the stage via Rally. Rally is an open platform that allows crypto-interested creators, influencers, celebrities and brands to launch their own currency.
The launch ranked Selah among the early established artists to engage their fans via a personal token. More so, this would be the first time a Christian artist will launch their own digital currency.
