Price Jnr. on his Facebook page and on the Twitter handle of Ever Increasing Faith Ministries (EIFM), his television broadcast station
"Our Husband, Father & your Apostle has gone to be w/ the Lord this evening. We accept his decision to go as he got a glimpse of glory a few weeks ago. We are sad. Please allow us some time to process. He fought the good fight of faith & laid hold of eternal life. The Price Family"
His bout with COVID-19 left the famed televangelist Frederick K.C. Price hospitalized with a ravaged heart, lungs and kidneys, sparking a global call for prayers some days ago.
Minister Baltimore Scott, the staff administrator for the center's New York operations,
shared concerns about Price’s health Sunday, along with a global call for prayer.
“Today, I am calling on all members and friends of Crenshaw Christian Center New York and on everyone everywhere who has been touched by the teaching of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price to join in a worldwide prayer for the Apostle as he faces the health challenges posed by COVID-19. Specifically, we need to pray for the complete restoration of Apostle’s lungs, heart and kidneys and any other parts of his body that are now under attack as he remains in the hospital."
Apostle Price started Crenshaw Christian Center and shepherded it into a ministry of world renown, with services held in the 10,000-seat Faith Dome.In 1978, Apostle Price began a television broadcast and, as a result, Ever Increasing Faith Ministries (EIFM) began broadcasting in five major television markets. Thus, the television broadcast soon after became global.
A year after his affirmation and after more than 35 years of service, Apostle Price stepped aside as pastor to formally install his son, Frederick K. Price Jr., as his successor. For years he served as the presiding prelate of both CCC West and CCC East and as the chairman of CCC’s board of directors. Having retired from his position as pastor and all other official duties, he restricts much of his travel.
A devout husband, Apostle Price was married to Dr. Betty Price for 67 years. They are the proud parents of four children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
