A new single, Ascend, has been
released by worship minister, Dunsin Oyekan. It is a call to come higher to God
in worship. With the lyrics there’s a recognition of God and His ability to
change the worshipper as they come to Him.
The scriptures used on the
YouTube page are Revelations 4:1 – After these things I looked, and behold,
a door standing open in the heaven. And the first voice which I heard was alike
a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things
which must take place after this.”
“But we all, with unveiled
face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are being transformed into
the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2
Corinthians 3:18)
Adrian Allen had this to say about the song, “This is a
worshiper that sits in the presence of God. The songs are sounds of worship.
God bless you Minister Dunsin.”
Nana Bandoh observed that, “If
you have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, your songs will always minister
and change lives. This man has made us ascend. Ashaa!”
Antwi Ernest quoted Dunin’s
popular words said at concerts and ended with a prayer. “We don’t sing songs,
we sing revelations. God bless you for yielding to the call!”
This is another song that will no doubt be a favourite on playlists and in personal times of devotion for many.
Out now on digital platforms where music is found.
