The senior pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin, has paid tributes to late actor, Karibi Fubara, who passed on last Thursday, December 16. The ‘’God Calling’’ actor who said to have battled cancer since 2020.
On his Facebook page, the cleric posted, ‘’Karibi Fubara was a great and noble gentleman. An enterprise in Nollywood, his Christian movie- God Calling is a testament to his faith and love for God. He played his role as a doting husband to Yolanda, a son to his parent, an incredible brother to his siblings, and an inspiration to all of us.
‘’I watched him face the last challenge of his life, with valor, honor, faith, and Christian fortitude! Our hearts go out to his parents – their Royal highnesses. May his soul rest in peace.
‘’I solicit your prayers for his family for strength to bear this loss, and particularly to our sister, Stella who nursed and cared for him to the very end. May God alone be their consolation. Amen. Rest on son. Obsequious to be announced by the family later.’’

Fubara is notable for his role as Francis in the faith-based movie, God Calling which was released in 2018. Since his passing, his friends, colleagues, and family have paid tributes to him on social media. Asides, ‘’God Calling,’’ Fubara featured in other works including The Smart Money Woman.
