Earlier this week, the General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Effurun, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, gifted some Nollywood veterans, Chinwe Owoh and Cynthia Okereke with car gifts. The preacher made this announcement on his social media page.
According to the preacher, the car gifts are worth N6m each. In addition, he gave the actresses N2m to fuel the vehicles.
Prophet Funfeyin wrote, “It was a great and glamorous service today as Prophet Jeremiah surprised two veteran Nollywood actresses, Cynthia Okereke and Chinwo Owoh, with car gifts worth six million naira each with the sum of N2,000,000 cash to support the fueling of the vehicles.
“Ephesians 3:20: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
His post went viral and generated several reactions. The first commenter posted, “We should learn to celebrate good works. No man can win by complaining or finding fault in everything. The prophet is playing his part in the society. That is what he is called for. I celebrate you Prophet Jeremiah Omoto.”
Musa Ishaku wrote, “This man of God is always helping the needy especially Nollywood actors. May God continually open doors of blessings specially for him.”
Eddie Vincent said, “You give, people will find fault. You don’t give, they write rubbish about you. Let the man live his life. I like Fufeyin because pastors by virtue of tithe are the richest. Imagine 10% of every member’s income. Yet, some still cry about hunger when poor members approach them for help.”
Francis Madueke said, “Those actors and actresses who in their time tried their best but did not make it as much as the present generation. God bless the pastor.”
