The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos is marking its 30th anniversary on April 15, 2022. The church was founded by Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and his late wife, Bimbo Odukoya in 1992. Before her passing, alongside 102 others in the Sosoliso plane crash on December 10, 2005, Pastor Bimbo was notable for her relationship and marriage teachings. Their marriage produced three children.
On January 5, 2010, Pastor Taiwo got married to Rosemary Zulu and their union produced two children. In November 2021, she passed on after battling with cancer for two years. Pastor Taiwo also lost his twin sister, Kehinde, less than two months after he lost his second wife.
The vision of the church is to “teach men and women the art of building successful relationships and the principles of leadership so they can be all they are created to be.”
While marking the 30th anniversary of the church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya wrote on his social media pages, “30 years of walking with God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, creator of all things. 30 years of nurturing and developing all to full potential of their callings. 30 years of teaching men and women leadership principles and the art building successful relationships.
“30 years of providing a home for the lost, and guidance for those in search of direction, purpose and calling. 30 years of raising people committed to making a difference.
“Lord, our hearts sing your praises. Happy 30th anniversary to everyone who has walked through the door of The Fountain of Life Church, Illupeju and all our parishes.”
His followers congratulated him on the feat. Grace Braide wrote, “Thanks be to the Lord for His faithfulness. Congratulations to the pastorate and everyone. You will be rewarded for your labor in His vineyard in the mighty name of Jesus.”
Niyi Olatunji said, “Congratulations to the Fountain of Life family. Greater grace for greater exploits. Many happy returns for the day.”
Olufemi Tejuoso commented, “Congratulations, my dear pastor. Many more glorious, fruitful and awesome years in God’s hands. Fresh anointing upon you daily.”
