The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has affirmed that he has made an impact with his evangelism program worldwide, Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).
He made this statement at the formal launch of two of his books titled ‘Shown Approved Ministers’ and ‘Voyage to Liberation’ at the Lagos State University of Technology (LASUTECH) in Ikorodu, Lagos.
He spoke on his observation of how the world is filled with loads of crisis despite the level of technology available. Also, he expressed concern that there are a lot of challenges in the world which made him birth the Global Crusade with Kumuyi.
Kumuyi said, “People across the world are grappling with deep-seated emotional problems. Dependence on psychotropic drugs is on the rise. The suicide rate has spiked. It all has to do with the fallen nature of man.
“It is this same mandate and mission that now drives me and has led to the birth of the GCK, proclaiming the gospel, bringing reprieve and solace to a world gripped with mounting and seemingly unresolvable crises.
“What began as a mustard seed about a year ago with deepening roots has spread far and wide and blossomed as we stand in awe of the mercy and might of God.”
He also spoke on the number of persons that have been impacted by the crusade. He said, “Based on statistics and analysis of our media streams, the GCK, over the past year, has reached more than 150 countries with a monthly average physical audience of between 40,000 to 150,000 and a virtual audience of over 3,000,000 people globally.
“We have documented over 200,000 people across the world who have been saved and transformed during these crusades. More than 30 million people have been impacted globally in the last year through the GCK.”
Thousands of individuals attended the program including a judge of the Lagos State High Court, Justice Mojisola Dada, and a former Vice President of Zambia, Nevers Mumba.
