Televangelist, preacher, author and founder of In Touch Ministries, Charles Stanley has passed on at the age of 90.
The announcement was made on InTouch Instagram page on Tuesday, 18th of April 2023.
Dear In Touch Family, this morning at the age of 90, God called our beloved pastor, Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley, home to heaven. Dr. Stanley lived a faithful life of obedience, dedicated to teaching others how to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Now he is receiving the joy of his soul—seeing his Savior face-to-face.He was senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia for 49 years and he stepped back from that role in 2020, taking on emeritus status.

He is survived by his son Andy Stanley; daughter Becky Stanley Broderson; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and half-sister Susie Cox. His former wife, Anna Stanley who had divorced him in 2000, died in 2014.
