As gospel singer Victoria Orenze marked her 40th birthday, several of her fans took to social media to celebrate her. Her older friend and colleague Nathaniel Bassey revealed that he has been friends with her for almost 20 years. He also described her as authentic, sincere, loving, and dogged.
The “Ebenezer” crooner wrote on Instagram, “I have known her for close to 20 years, and I have watched her evolve, emerge and transform into a power house in the kingdom. She is sincere, authentic, loving and dogged. My online community, help me celebrate my sister and friend @victoriaorenze on her landmark birthday! It is indeed a new season! Please share how she has impacted your life in the comment section. Through her songs, message, overall life and living.”
Several fans of Victoria, who have been impacted by her works, reacted to Nathaniel’s post.
@abake_s commented: “Victoria Orenze taught me to sing, dance, and war in the Holy Ghost as opposed to just speaking in the Holy Ghost. I could win battles just singing her songs! She really has played a huge role in getting this generation to go gaga for God with love! I love her so much! and I pray God continues to crown her with His glory.”

@lynn_acc: “Happy birthday, ma. I wish you God’s blessings always. Last year in August/September, I was praying to get a particular job. While I was preparing for my interview I had doubts, anxiety, etc then I stumbled on her song 'God Can', and I played it until faith rose up in my heart. I’m happy to testify that I got the job to the glory of God.”
