Social media has impacted greatly the career of many people and has helped to reach a wider audience. For gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, her case is not different as she celebrates having 4 million followers on Instagram.
The “Too Many Reasons” crooner was ecstatic as she announced this news and her fans were also excited for her. Aside from touching lives with her music, she and her husband Blessed Uzochikwa have been involved in some philanthropic works.
Recall that Christianity Nigeria earlier reported during her Overwhelming Concert held at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in April, the couple gave out scholarships to students of the university.
She posted a video from the event with herself and her husband on stage with the caption: "The Mercy Is Blessed Foundation @mercyisblessedfoundation continually touches lives by the grace and power of the gospel! 100% scholarships awarded to 50 well-deserved students of the University of Port Harcourt. It’s our heartfelt mission to support these bright young minds as they continue on their journey toward academic and spiritual growth."
