Michael W. Smith, others attend Franklin Graham’s gospel tour

American gospel singer, Michael W. Smith, was among the attendees at the gospel tour in Glasgow, Scotland, organized by preacher Franklin Graham.

According to Graham, preaching about God’s word is a privilege. He was also grateful that many people gave their lives to Christ.

He posted pictures from the event with the caption: “Who is Jesus? Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God who came from heaven to earth on a rescue mission to save us from our sins.

“It was a privilege to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to a full house at the OVO Hydro arena in Glasgow. Hundreds of people made the most important decision of their lives tonight—to turn from their sins and come to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. I told the crowd that what God wants is your heart. We praise Him for every heart He made new tonight.”

Graham, who is the president of the Billy Graham Evangelical Ministries, quoted 2 Corinthians 5:17 saying: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

He also appreciated the singers that graced the impactful event. In his words: “Thank you to the great artists, Michael W. Smith, TAYA, Dennis Agajanian, and the Tommy Coomes Band who were with us tonight, as well as the many wonderful churches and volunteers who have partnered with us for the #GodLovesYouTour!”

Jonathan Innes said: “It was a privilege to be there to hear you give a clear message of the gospel. Praise God for all those who went forward tonight to make a profession of their faith. It was a fantastic opportunity and much needed across Scotland, not just in Glasgow."

Jeannean Host Arnold reacted: “Thank you for sharing God’s word and helping so many souls turn to Jesus Christ! I saw your dad in Louisville, Kentucky two nights in a row in the mid 1980’s. It was an amazing experience. Our family watched him on TV all my life.”

Donald Tackett said: “Thank you for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people who attended. Praying that the Word of God is firmly planted in their hearts.”
