Writer and fitness enthusiast, Kemi Oyedepo, recently bagged her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Walden University, USA, and it coincided with her 40th birthday. She was celebrated by her family, friends, and well-wishers.
Kemi, the wife of Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr. of Living Faith Church, was grateful to God for the achievement and she noted that though she was tired, she had to show up to celebrate her graduation. Her husband was also present at the occasion.
She posted a picture of herself in her graduation gown with the caption: “Tired faces but grateful hearts! I took a quick trip to Orlando, FL, USA, to attend my graduation which was the day after my birthday! It’s been celebration time two for this girl.
“What a journey this Doctoral program was! One statement from one of the speakers was - “The more education you have, the more responsibility you have to add value. Education must be shared, not hoarded!”
She also said that she aims to make impact with her latest achievement and admitted that she worked hard for it.
