Christian filmmaker, Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, was in the spirit of gratitude as he celebrated his 35th birthday on September 16, 2024. He was grateful to God for the plans for his life. According to him, it is God's grace that has brought him this far.
He wrote on social media: "Lord, I am so grateful for another year. Thank you for the plans you have for my life and for the purpose you've placed within me. I could never have come this far without You, Lord. Your grace has carried me through every season, and Your love has sustained me every step of the way.
“I look forward to this new chapter with excitement, trusting that Your perfect will shall be done in my life. Continue to guide me, strengthen me, and help me walk in alignment with Your divine purpose. All glory to You, now and forever."
His father, Mike Bamiloye, celebrated him and shared an intriguing experience he had on an airplane with him and his mum. He wrote: "Damilola IleriOluwa, happy birthday. A firebrand drama and movie evangelist! A man of great faith and insight.
“Some times ago, my wife and I with Dammy were on flight from Lagos to Texas. He was sitting on the extreme right side of the row while we sat at the left side row. He was fortunate to be the only one on side of his seat. And for the 12 hours of flights, he was busy typing his script and praying.
“At some point, he would type for a while and start praying with the blanket covering his head. Then, one of the times, while many were asleep, he was praying and his voice was getting a bit loud and I almost left my seat to go over to him in the third row, to tell him to lower his voice because some people were sleeping. But as I was thinking of this, he stopped, removed the blanket covering him and started typing again.
“Therefore, I am not surprised at the type of spiritual energy and inspiration that came forth from Abattoir that ended yesterday. More geace and anointing, Servant of God! More impact on your Generation. May you live to fulfill purpose of God only. May the devil be frustrated over your life.”
On her part, Damilola's wife Emmanuela said: "I join the world to celebrate this great gift. You are all I prayed for and more. My best friend, an amazing husband and father. A mentor and exemplary icon. A true child of God. A blessing to this generation.
“I pray for you from the bottom of my heart that God’s grace upon your life be multiplied. You shall go from glory to glory and from strength to strength. You will finish strong in Jesus name, amen. I love you truly. Happy birthday my love. Have a blessed year ahead.”
